One of the questions I get asked a lot is "what can I give my dog that has a special diet?"
I am now in the unenviable position of being able to answer this more accurately than ever. Dear old Whizzy has been diagnosed with Stage 2 kidney disease, enlarged liver and Cushing's. The Cushing's is being managed with meds, and highly successfully, but the kidneys are being helped by diet.
Whizzy had been raw fed for many years, and although this can continue, we just need to be more careful about the phosphorus and protein levels. Therefore she is now on Nutriment Support, and loving it!
Treats are a different kettle of fish, but luckily I sell a whole range of suitable treats. For training Whizzy can have Roastie Bites or Reward Coins. For an everyday longer lasting chew she can have any of the vegetable based treats: Break-a-bars, Fruit & Veg Star Sticks, Fruit Twists or Fruit & Veg Straws. Lucky girl!
If you ever have questions or queries about product suitability, please don't hesitate to get in touch and I'll do my best to help.
In the meantime, I wish you a a very happy & healthy Christmas.
Take care,
Anne 🙂🐾
