Tendons make a great dental aid – once the dog starts to chew, they become fibrous and massage between the teeth, right down to the gum helping prevent tartar build up. Ostrich Tendons are naturally high in chondroitin, collagen and protein, which can help with the development and maintaining of muscles, helps with joint health and helps to support healthy skin and coat. The braided element of this treat adds an extra level of stimulation and entertainment for the dog as they chew down and try to take the braid apart.
